I hope you are all having a great start to 2025. What a busy holiday season it has been! For the Thanksgiving holiday, I went on a trip to South Korea with my family. I haven’t been back in 16 years! We enjoyed our time eating delicious Korean food, visiting Hanok villages & cat cafes, cruising The Han River, experiencing a BTS Tour, getting my 10-step Korean hair treatment and shopping (at Olive Young to be exact!). It was amazing to see the K-beauty scene up close & personal and do research. Overall, is was wonderful to connect more with my culture and heritage. It was even more special to do that with my son Bodhi as it was his first time visiting Korea. I’ll be recapping my Korea trip in an upcoming blog post later this month in The Choi Chat™. Returning back to San Francisco early December, we went into high gear with all our holiday events and shows. It was so fun to see our clients in-person and help more people know about our brand. Then I took some time off of work the week of Christmas and New Year’s. It was nice to decompress from the busy season and year and spend quality time with my family and catch up with friends. We visited my 96 year old grandma, who is doing pretty well for her age. I also visited an old friend I haven’t seen in a while as he and his husband just adopted a baby. It was so nostalgic to hold a little baby again! My family and I always take our annual day trip to Pescadero and visit Duarte’s Tavern for their epic green chili & artichoke soup. We also had a fantastic after Christmas meal at The Vault Garden downtown and visited the Union Square Tree. We spent New Years Day with my extended family eating New Year's Korean "Good Luck" Soup (made by my mom) and played Yunnori (Korean board game) with the whole family and won $20 bucks!
As I reflect back on 2024 and the earlier years of CCC. I have so much gratitude for you and all the support you have given to me and the business. I feel so lucky that you understand the passion behind what I do. I hope to continue to share more of what I love and share my artistry skills and makeup perspective with my beautiful audience.
2025 is filled with some great projects and some new colors! The CCC Team is continuing to work hard on our digital products and we will be sharing that with you in the coming months.
